"I am a mother of four and a step-mother to five amazing children, plus I am a grandmother and great-grandmother.   I have enjoyed many careers outside of the home, but most of them were in or around the water with swimming and scuba. In 2020, I became a widow and then I retired in 2021 and I spend much of my time volunteering.  I have enjoyed bonding with my dogs and participating in many team activities with them.  I have also enjoyed meeting and becoming friends with some amazing people at USDTC by becoming part of the club board and volunteering at club sponsored events. As an AKC Canine Ambassador, I enjoy going out with my dog teams to offer comfort, bring smiles and educate the public on dog safety and positive training.  I love meeting new people and their dogs, so volunteering with USDTC has and continues to be very rewarding."
