This class is designed to teach you the skills and give you the knowledge necessary for you and your dog to become a Therapy Dog team. It includes one evaluation toward your official Therapy Dog certification.

Basic Obedience is the minimum prerequisite necessary to register for this class. If your dog has not taken a Basic Obedience class at USDTC, please register now and begin your journey toward Therapy Dog certification! 

Your initial certification evaluation is conducted by club members and official testors affiliated with one of the top three therapy dog organizations in the country: Alliance of Therapy Dogs.
